SLW visits bereaved family

In response to media enquiries, a Labour and Welfare Bureau spokesman confirmed that the Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Mr Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, visited the bereaved family of the victim of the gate accident this afternoon (May 10).
Mr Cheung comforted the family and expressed his deepest condolences. He promised to do his best to assist the family.
He stayed there for nearly two hours.
Meanwhile, two social workers will continue to stay with the family to render support.
