The Secretary for the Environment, Mr Edward Yau, today (April 29, Washington DC time) continued his duty visit to the US capital of Washington DC.
He started the day by calling on Chairman of the Senate Committee on Energy and National Resources, Senator Jeff Bingaman, to exchange views on environmental protection.
At an event organised by the China Environment Forum of Woodrow Wilson International Centre for Scholars, Mr Yau gave a speech on Hong Kong's engagement of Guangdong as part of our efforts to improve the environment, particularly on the vision of the Peal River Delta quality living area.
Mr Yau also attended a reception hosted by the HK-US Business Council.
