SEN continues Beijing visit (with photos)

     The Secretary for the Environment, Mr Edward Yau, today (April 2) continued his three-day visit to Beijing.

     Mr Yau this morning called on the Administrator of the National Energy Administration, Mr Zhang Guobao, and they discussed the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding on energy co-operation.

     He later met the Vice-Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission, Mr Xie Zhenhua, to exchange views on issues of common concern.

     In the afternoon, Mr Yau met the Deputy Director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, Mr Zhou Bo. He then met the Vice-Minister of Land and Resources, Mr Wang Min, and briefed him on the preparation works on the setting up of a national geopark in Hong Kong.
