The Lands Department announced today (March 30) that a site at San Fung Avenue, Shek Wu Hui in Sheung Shui, Fanling Sheung Shui Town Lot No. 225, had been successfully triggered for sale under the Application List System.
The lot will be offered for sale in the 2009-2010 financial year's first Government land auction to be held on May 5, 2009 at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium, Wan Chai.
A Lands Department spokesman said that the Government had accepted the applicant's minimum guaranteed bid of $30 million for the lot. This will be the opening bid at the auction subject to the reserve price of the lot.
Fanling Sheung Shui Town Lot No. 225 has a site area of about 305.8 square metres and is designated for non-industrial (excluding godown and hotel) purposes. A minimum gross floor area of 716 square metres must be completed.
The final Conditions of Sale for the lot will be available for distribution and uploaded onto the Lands Department's website (www.landsd.gov.hk) by April 17, 2009, when the particulars of the land auction will also be gazetted.
