Following is the transcript of remarks (English portion) by the Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, after officiating at the grand opening ceremony of Hong Kong Science Park Solar Energy Technology Support Centre and DuPont Apollo Global Thin Film Photovoltaic R&D Centre at the Hong Kong Science Park today (March 20):
Chief Executive: I am very excited about this project. It is not only a major achievement in the way we are able to attract major investors like DuPont to come to do a high technology venture producing one of the first in the world. But most important, it is also a joint venture between Hong Kong and Shenzhen. It is a real symbol that we are working together for the common good of the citizens here in Hong Kong and in Shenzhen. And of course it is a major investment which will end up with more jobs, greater prospects for people in Hong Kong and Shenzhen. I am very excited about it.
