The Leisure and Cultural Services Department today (March 16) announced that its 33 major and district libraries would open seven days a week from April 1 to enhance library service to the public.
The new opening hours of Aberdeen, Chai Wan, Kowloon, Lockhart Road, Ma On Shan, Ngau Chi Wan, North Kwai Chung, North Point, Po On Road, Shek Tong Tsui, Sheung Shui, Shui Wo Street, Tseung Kwan O, Tsuen Wan, Tuen Mun, Yau Ma Tei and Yuen Long Public Libraries are:
Library Services:
Monday: noon to 8pm
Tuesday to Saturday: 9am to 8pm
Sunday and public holiday: 9am to 5pm
Students' Study Room Service (except the North Point Public Library where Students' Study Room facility is not available):
Monday: noon to 10pm
Tuesday to Friday: 9am to 10pm
Saturday: 9am to 8pm
Sunday and public holiday: 9am to 5pm
The new opening hours of Cheung Chau, City Hall, Fa Yuen Street, Fanling, Lai Chi Kok, Ngau Tau Kok, Quarry Bay, Sai Kung, San Po Kong, Sha Tin, South Kwai Chung, Tai Hing, Tai Po, Tin Shui Wai, To Kwa Wan and Tsing Yi Public Libraries are:
