Red flags lowered at Clear Water Bay First Beach and Clear Water Bay Second Beach

Please broadcast the following as soon as possible and repeat it at regular intervals:

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department says today (March 3) that since the waters off Clear Water Bay First Beach and Clear Water Bay Second Beach in Sai Kung District are now suitable for swimming, the red flags have been lowered.

     The red flags were hoisted at the beaches after red tides were found.

     The department reminds the public that the lifeguard service at Clear Water Bay First Beach is suspended in winter.
