Hongkong Post announces today that the Yau Yat Tsuen Post Office located at No. 11A, Fa Po Street, Yau Yat Tsuen, Kowloon, will be temporarily closed for business from February 16 (Monday) until March for major renovation works. The office will re-open when the renovation works are completed. The date of resumption of operation will be announced in due course.
The Yau Yat Tsuen Post Office has been in operation in the present premises for over 39 years. The general conditions of the office need improvement in order to provide better service to customers.
During the renovation period, customers may patronise the Shek Kip Mei Post Office located at Shop 132 &134, Ground Floor, Block 19, Shek Kip Mei Estate, Nam Cheong Street, Kowloon.
Existing customers for Collection of Mail, Local Standing Order Service and private franking machine at the post office will be directed to Shek Kip Mei Post Office during the period of Yau Yat Tsuen Post Office's temporary closure.
Hongkong Post regrets the inconvenience that might be caused to customers by the renovation works and appreciates the understanding and co-operation of those affected. For further information about the renovation work, customers may call the counter services customer care hotline at 2525 5856.
