Suspected murder case in Hung Hom reclassified as murder

     Police reclassified a suspected murder case in Hung Hom on January 31 as murder today (February 2).

     About 8.48pm on January 31, a woman made a report to the Police that she found her friend lying unconscious inside a flat on To Kwa Wan Road.

     Police sped to the scene and located the 38-year-old woman lying unconscious on a bed inside the flat. She was subsequently certified dead at 9.11pm at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

     A post-mortem examination was conducted today and revealed that she died of suffocation. Investigations by Regional Crime Unit of Kowloon West are underway.
