Police will implement special traffic arrangements in the vicinity of the City Hall in Central to facilitate the Ceremonial Opening of the Legal Year 2009 tomorrow (January 12).
The following traffic arrangements will be implemented between 4am tomorrow and 5am on the next day (January 13):
Road closure
------------
- The section of Edinburgh Place (north) between City Hall and Lung Wui Road; and
- The section of northbound Edinburgh Place (east) between Connaught Road Central and Lung Wui Road.
Traffic diversions
------------------
- Traffic along eastbound Connaught Road Central will be prohibited to turn left onto northbound Edinburgh Place (east) between Connaught Road Central and Lung Wui Road and will be diverted to use Harcourt Road, Tim Wa Avenue and Lung Wui Road; and
- Traffic along westbound Lung Wui Road will be prohibited to turn right onto the section of Edinburgh Place (north) between City Hall and Lung Wui Road.
