Hongkong Post, announced today (December 31) that in collaboration with China Post, new Lunar New Year gift sets would be available under the Hong Kong/Mainland Gift Fulfilment Service from January 2-20.
Hongkong Post and China Post have teamed up since January 2004 to create the Hong Kong/Mainland Gift Fulfilment Service, providing a convenient service for sending a range of gift sets to the Mainland including seasonal gift sets, bouquets, cakes and flower baskets.
To cater for customers' desire to send their best wishes and gifts to relatives, friends and business partners in Hong Kong and the Mainland during this festive season, six gourmet gift sets filled with different kinds of snacks, cookies, dried seafood, preserved sausages, and tea leaves are now available. The elegant gift sets come in polished packing boxes and are priced from $198 to $788, inclusive of delivery charges.
"These gift sets are made with a great deal of care and attention to detail," Assistant Postmaster General (Business Development) Mr Dan Choi said. "We constantly review and update the product range to meet customers' needs. In view of the economic downturn this year, we have introduced very affordable and value-for-money gift sets, starting from as low as $198. We hope that everyone can send their warm regards to their loved ones and be delighted in this joyous season."
Customers can now place orders to send these Lunar New Year gift sets to more than 2,000 cities on the Mainland. The products will be delivered before January 25 for orders placed on or before January 20. The completed order forms can be returned in person at any post office, or by fax or post. Customers may also purchase these gift sets via the Hongkong Post Internet shopping mall – "ShopThruPost" (www.shopthrupost.hk).
