Arts Corner to be launched at Hong Kong Park
********************************************

A new round of the Arts Corner will be launched at Hong Kong Park tomorrow (January 1) and people are welcome to visit for free.

Organised by Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the Arts Corner will operate from noon to 6pm on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. It aims to make the park more appealing to park-goers and create a relaxed atmosphere for art appreciation.

In the ninth phase of the Arts Corner at Hong Kong Park, there will be 10 stalls set up at the outdoor area near the Museum of Teaware for selling handicrafts and artworks such as paper craftworks, carving works, accessories and stone painting. Services to be provided by arts service stalls include painting, calligraphy, silhouette cutting and sketching/caricature.

Similar events are being held at Victoria Park and Kowloon Park. The Arts Corner at Victoria Park is staged from 10am to 6pm on Sundays and public holidays until January 18, and the Arts Fun Fair at Kowloon Park will run until May 31 on Sundays and public holidays from 1pm to 7pm.
