The Leisure and Cultural Services Department says the main pool at the Fanling Swimming Pool has been temporarily closed for cleaning and superchlorination following the discovery of a small amount of faeces in the pool.
As the main pool is the only pool open at the Fanling Swimming Pool, the venue is now temporarily closed.
It will reopen at 7am tomorrow.
The department appeals to swimmers to be considerate and to keep our swimming pools clean. They are advised not to swim after a full meal and should use the toilet facilities if necessary before swimming.
