SCED visits Beijing

     The Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mrs Rita Lau, left this morning (December 22) for a duty visit to Beijing.

     Mrs Lau will exchange views with officials of the Ministry of Commerce on matters of mutual interest. These include measures in support of the Hong Kong enterprises on the Mainland, and further liberalisation of the services sectors under the CEPA (Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement).

     She will return to Hong Kong tomorrow (December 23).
