The Home Affairs Department has advised ticket holders of the "Hong Kong Welcomes the Delegation of Shenzhou-7 Manned Space Mission Variety Show" to be held at the Hong Kong Stadium tomorrow (December 7), to allow adequate time for travelling to the venue and security checking before admission.
Admission will start at 12.30pm. Artistes, bands, the Hong Kong Dance Company and the Hong Kong Children's Choir will stage a pre-show between 2pm and 3pm. Participants can collect a set of souvenirs by presenting their tickets at the souvenir shops in the stadium. Apart from performances by artistes, the three astronauts Zhai Zhigang, Jing Haipeng and Liu Boming will also participate in the variety show.
Spectators are strongly advised to take public transport and avoid driving to the Hong Kong Stadium.
Ticket holders attending the variety show are requested to observe the rules of the stadium. Some items which are prohibited in the venue are as follows:
- Bottles, cans, glassware or fragile articles;
- Any items which may create undue inconvenience to other participants or disturb the smooth progress of the events.
Participants who violate the rules will not be admitted or will be removed from the venue.
In view of the cold weather forecast tomorrow, spectators are advised to take note of the weather conditions and wear appropriate warm clothing.
