The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) announced today (December 5) that as at 6pm, over 50,000 free admission tickets, or about 76% of the tickets to be distributed to the public, for the exhibition on China's First Spacewalk Mission have been given out.¡@Tickets for all weekend sessions of the exhibition (December 6 and 7, and December 13 and 14) were distributed.
A spokesman for LCSD said, "The some tickets for the weekday sessions of the exhibition are still available on a first-come-first-served basis at the Hong Kong Science Museum's box office while stock lasts. The box office of the museum is specially open daily from 9am to 9pm until December 14.¡¨
He reminded people who wish to view the exhibition to get the tickets as early as possible as only limited number of tickets are available.
"Visitors to the exhibition, upon presentation of a ticket, will receive a special display pamphlet and a sticker. The pamphlet contains detailed explanation on highlight exhibits and is illustrated with rare photographs taken during the spacewalk mission," the spokesman said.
