CE's statement on Thailand traffic accident

The Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, was saddened by the death of a Hong Kong resident involved in a traffic accident in Thailand early this morning (December 1).
The Immigration Department has already sent two officers to Phuket, Thailand, this afternoon to offer assistance to the victim's family. The Chief Executive has asked the officers to convey his deepest sympathy to the family.
The Government will continue to endeavour to make arrangements to bring stranded Hong Kong residents back home as soon as possible.
