Exhibition on Lands Department's Survey and Mapping Service

     The Lands Department will hold an exhibition from tomorrow (November 7) to November 10 at the Hong Kong Central Library in Causeway Bay to introduce the products and services provided by the Survey and Mapping Office (SMO).

     The exhibition will feature a series of displays and photos to showcase the latest products and services offered by the SMO.  Visitors can take the opportunity to keep abreast of the latest technology and development of survey and mapping instruments, such as the Geospatial Information Hub System of the SMO, virtual reality model and stereoscopic aerial photographs.

     There will also be demonstrations and talks to highlight details of SMO's products and services.  Puzzle games on surveying equipment for children to play will be arranged at the venue.

     The exhibition will be held at the Exhibition Galleries No. 4-5 on the ground floor of the Hong Kong Central Library.  It will be open from 2pm to 8pm tomorrow (November 7); from 9am to 8pm on Saturday and Sunday (November 8 and 9); and from 9am to 5pm on Monday (November 10).  Admission is free.
