CS will visit Sichuan to discuss post-quake work

     The Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Henry Tang, will leave for Chengdu, Sichuan, on Wednesday (November 5).

     While in Sichuan Mr Tang will meet provincial officials to discuss Hong Kong's participation in post-quake reconstruction work.  He will inspect projects to be funded by the Hong Kong Government, visit facilities and programmes operated by Hong Kong NGOs, and visit families in the quake areas.  

     Mr Tang will also witness the signing of projects funded by the Government and the Hong Kong Jockey Club.

     Mr Tang will return to Hong Kong on Friday (November 7). During his absence, the Secretary for Education, Mr Michael Suen, will be the Acting Chief Secretary for Administration.
