Various Halloween vampires are in Hong Kong again. The Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service's Blood Donor Centres are now decorated for Halloween for blood donors and their love ones to donate blood and take photos. During "Halloween Blood Donation Week" between Monday (October 27) and October 31, donors giving blood at Kwun Tong and Mong Kok Blood Donor Centres will be presented with a "Halloween Gasiapon Souvenir" and can take photos at the "Halloween Standees".
A "Halloween Blood Donation Night Party" will be held at Kwun Tong and Mong Kok Blood Donor Centres from 8pm to 10pm on October 31. A bunch of grinning weird pals will be there to welcome all donor participants, serve a "Halloween Special Drink" and present the "Halloween Gasiapon Souvenir". The spooky photographer will also take photos for donors at the "Halloween Standees" too. One hundred admission tickets for the "Halloween Blood Donation Night" party will be distributed from 8pm on October 31 at Kwun Tong and Mong Kok Blood Donor Centres on a first-come-first-serve basis.
The new Kwun Tong Blood Donor Centre began service last month. It is located at Units 2301 and 2316, 23/F, Millennium City 5, 418 Kwun Tong Road (Kwun Tong MTR station exit A2). The centre is newly decorated and spacious with large plasma TV and wireless broadband service.
