Shark prevention nets in Shek O, Big Wave Bay and Chung Hom Kok beaches repaired

     Here is an item of interest to swimmers.
 
     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (October 5) that the shark prevention net repair work in Shek O Beach, Big Wave Bay Beach and Chung Hom Kok Beach were completed.
 
     Big Wave Bay Beach was reopened today. However, due to big waves, the red flags were still hoisted at Shek O Beach and Chung Hom Kok Beach. Beach-goers are advised not to swim at the two beaches.
 
     These three beaches were temporarily closed on September 23 and 24 for shark prevention net repair work after typhoon attack.
