Holiday opening hours for public libraries

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department today (September 3) announced that the opening hours of all public libraries on Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival (September 14) would be the same as those for other Sundays, with the exception of Hong Kong Central Library which would close at 5pm on that day.

     Apart from individual libraries’ closing days, opening hours of public libraries on the day following the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival will be the same as those for public holidays. Details can be found on notices posted at all public libraries and at the website: www.hkpl.gov.hk.
