The following is issued on behalf of the Construction Industry Council:
The Construction Industry Council (CIC) will meet tomorrow (August 28) at 2.30pm in Room 1201, 12/F, Murray Building, Garden Road, Central, Hong Kong.
The agenda items include:
(1) Guidelines on administration charges for accident reporting;
(2) Fifth progress report of Committee on Procurement;
(3) Fifth progress report of Committee on Manpower Training and Development;
(4) Fourth progress report of Construction Industry Training Board;
(5) Sixth progress report of Committee on Construction Site Safety;
(6) Eighth progress report of Committee on Environment and Technology;
(7) Fifth progress report of Committee on Subcontracting;
(8) Second progress report of Objections Committee;
(9) Eighth progress report of Committee on Administration and Finance;
(10) Pay rise;
(11) First summary report of informal task force on CIC logo; and
(12) Appointment of auditor to audit CIC defined contribution scheme.
People are welcome to observe the proceedings of the meeting. Due to the physical constraints of the venue, seats will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
The discussion on the last four items will not be open to the public in view of privacy and commercial sensitivity.
