Autodesk Chooses Hong Kong to Set Up its First Buzzsaw Production Data Centre in Asia Pacific (with photos)

    Autodesk world leader in 2D and 3D design software, today (July 22) announced the launch of its new Autodesk Buzzsaw data centre in Hong Kong.

    Autodesk has invested several million US dollars in its newly established Hong Kong Data Centre which will provide high availability of Autodesk Buzzsaw, Collaborative Project Management Solutions, for customers across Asia Pacific. The company spent three years on a thorough selection process and site-visits before deciding upon Hong Kong as the best location.

    Regional Director for Hong Kong and Taiwan of Autodesk, Miss Margery Yeung, said, ¡§We are very proud to have the first Autodesk Buzzsaw data centre setting up in Hong Kong. Autodesk decided to offer a full coverage solution, including Autodesk Buzzsaw solution, to meet our clients¡¦ growing demand for secure storage and multi-site access to their data. Autodesk Buzzsaw is the ideal project collaboration solution that enables customers to effectively manage vast infrastructure and building projects. Our data centre offers secure data storage and also reduces data transfer times by over 50%.
