The Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, who is leading a Hong Kong business delegation to the Mainland, today (July 22) started the visit programme in Changchun.
The delegation's first stop was Changchun Haoyue Halal Meat Co. Ltd., where members learned about the abundant agricultural and pastoral resources and the latest developments in food-processing industry in the northeast region.
This was followed by a visit to China FAW Group Corporation, where the delegation explored business opportunities between Hong Kong and Jilin in motor vehicle part and electronics industries.
They later visited Changchun Railway Vehicles Co. Ltd. and attended a dinner reception hosted by Changchun Municipal Government in the evening.
