The final registers of electors were published today (July 18).
For the geographical constituencies, the final register carries 3,372,007 electors, representing an increase of 2.3% over 2007.
The distribution of electors for the five geographical constituencies is as follows:

As regards the functional constituencies, the final register carries 229,861 electors, which represents an increase of 8% over 2007.
These registered electors of the geographical constituencies and functional constituencies are eligible to vote in the Legislative Council election to be held on September 7.
Apart from the registration of new electors, the records of more than 267,000 geographical constituencies electors and of some 3,000 functional constituencies electors have been updated in the final registers.
A full set of the final register for geographical constituencies is available for public inspection at the Registration and Electoral Office (REO) at 10/F Harbour Centre, 25 Harbour Road, Wan Chai. The public may also inspect the relevant section of the register pertinent to a particular district at the respective District Offices.
For functional constituencies, a full set of the final registers is available for public inspection at the REO's Harbour Centre Office and its office at 10/F Guardian House, 32 Oi Kwan Road, Wan Chai, and the District Offices in Central, Mong Kok, Kwun Tong, Sha Tin and Tsuen Wan.
Notices on the inspection of the final registers were published in the Gazette today.
