The Secretary for Transport and Housing, Ms Eva Cheng, today (July 17) began a two-day visit to Beijing to exchange views with Mainland officials on cross-boundary transport infrastructure co-operation and air services arrangements.
This is Ms Cheng's second visit to Beijing since she took up the post of Secretary for Transport and Housing in 2007. She will visit the National Development and Reform Commission, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, and Civil Aviation Administration of China.
Accompanying Ms Cheng to Beijing are the Director of Highways, Mr Wai Chi-sing, and the Deputy Secretary for Transport and Housing (Transport), Mr Esmond Lee.
