Lot in Sai Kung sold for $16.5 million

    The Lands Department this afternoon (May 9) held the first land auction of the 2008-2009 financial year.  A Government lot in Sai Kung was sold for $16.5 million.

    The lot, Lot No. 1200 in Demarcation District No. 217, in Pak Sha Wan, Sai Kung, was sold to Sheen Surety Limited at $16.5 million.  The opening bid was $10 million.  Lot No. 1200 in Demarcation District No. 217 has a site area of about 191.4 square metres and is designated for private residential purposes.  A minimum gross floor area of 68.9 square metres must be completed.

    The auction was conducted at the Auditorium of Tsuen Wan Town Hall by Assistant Director of Lands, Mr Graham Ross, who was assisted by Chief Estate Surveyor, Mr Tony Moyung.
