The Lands Department today (April 22) announced that the tender for a site for logistics development purposes at Container Port Road South, Kwai Chung, New Territories, Hong Kong (Kwai Chung Town Lot No. 507) had been awarded to Shine Fame Holdings Limited (parent company: NWS Service Management Limited) on a 50-year land grant at a premium of $648.18 million.
"Authority from the Central Tender Board was given to the Lands Department to award the site to this tenderer," a government spokesman said.
The other tenderers in alphabetical order were:-
(a) Chevalier Food Trading Limited
(b) Macquarie Goodman Asia Limited
The site, which measures about 23,315 square metres, is designated for logistics development purposes.
The gross floor area of the lot shall not be less than 38,700 square metres and shall not exceed 64,500 square metres.
