The Town Planning Board today (April 18) announced amendments to the draft South West Kowloon Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments mainly involve revision to the annotation of the ˇ§Other Specified Usesˇ¨(ˇ§OUˇ¨) zone for the West Kowloon Cultural District (WKCD) site from ˇ§Arts, Cultural, Commercial and Entertainment Usesˇ¨ to ˇ§Arts, Cultural, Entertainment, Commercial and Other Usesˇ¨; addition of building height restrictions as demarcated in sub-areas (A), (B) and (C) for the WKCD; and revision to the Notes for the ˇ§OUˇ¨ annotated ˇ§Arts, Cultural, Entertainment, Commercial and Other Usesˇ¨ zone by adding ˇ§Houseˇ¨ use under Column 2 and incorporating development restrictions for the WKCD under the Remarks of the Notes.
The draft South West Kowloon OZP No.S/K20/21, incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during normal office hours at the Secretariat of the Town Planning Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters in North Point and Sha Tin, the Tsuen Wan and West Kowloon District Planning Office, the Sham Shui Po District Office and the Yau Tsim Mong District Office.
Any person affected by the amendments can submit a written objection to the Secretary of the Town Planning Board by May 9, 2008.
