The Government today (March 17) announced that the Chief Executive had re-appointed Mr Vincent Cheng Hoi-chuen and Mr Tim Lui Tim-leung as chairman and member of the Standing Committee on Directorate Salaries and Conditions of Service respectively for a term of one year with effect from April 1.
The Chief Executive has also appointed a new member, Ms Chiang Lai-yuen, to the Directorate Committee for a term of two years from April 1.
The Government expresses gratitude for the service of Dr Thomas Leung Kwok-fai who will retire from the Directorate Committee on April 1, after six years of service.
The Directorate Committee advises the Government on the structure and matters relating to the pay and conditions of service of the civil service at directorate level. It is currently under the chairmanship of Mr Cheng. Other serving members of the Directorate Committee are Ms Teresa Ko Yuk-yin, Mr Nicky Lo Kar-chun and Mr Chow Chung-kong.
