At the invitation of the Standing Committee of the 11th National People's Congress, the Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, will leave for Beijing next Monday (March 17) to attend the closing ceremony of the first session of the 11th National People's Congress in Beijing on March 18.
Accompanying Mr Tsang on the visit will be the Director of the Chief Executive's Office, Mr Norman Chan; the Director of Information Services, Mrs Betty Fung; the Private Secretary to the Chief Executive, Mr Kenneth Mak; the Senior Special Assistant, Mr Chan Kin-ping; and the Assistant Director (Media), Mr Donald Chen.
Mr Tsang will return to Hong Kong on March 19. During his absence, the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Henry Tang, will be the acting Chief Executive.
