The Convenor of the Non-official Members of the Executive Council, Mr Leung Chun-ying, today (February 16) issued the following statement on Mr David Li's resignation from the Executive Council (ExCo):
"On Mr David Li's resignation from the ExCo, I and other non-official Members miss him greatly. During Mr Li's tenure as an ExCo Member, he worked very closely with other Members to assist the Chief Executive in policy-making. Mr Li also spares no effort in serving the community. He has made significant contributions in the areas of monetary services and education. We hope that he will continue to serve the people of Hong Kong and wish him happiness in the years to come."
