Hongkong Post announced today (January 31) that it was required to vacate the Causeway Bay Post Office premises at Shop G12, G/F, Elizabeth House, 250-254 Gloucester Road when its current lease expired. The office will be temporarily closed down after the close of business on Saturday, February 16, until suitable premises can be secured in the vicinity to accommodate the office.
Hongkong Post regrets that the temporary closure of the Causeway Bay Post Office may cause inconvenience to the public. Customers using the Causeway Bay Post Office are advised to use the alternative post offices listed below:
* Morrison Hill Post Office
Location: G/F, 28 Oi Kwan Road, Wan Chai
* Gloucester Road Post Office
Location: 1/F, Revenue Tower, 5 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai
* Wan Chai Post Office
Location: 2/F Wu Chung House, 197-213 Queen's Road East
* Hennessy Road Post Office
Location: G/F, Asian House, 1 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai
* Hing Fat Street Post Office
Location: G/F, Causeway Bay Kaifong Welfare Association Building,
30 Hing Fat Street
Arrangements have been made for existing Post Office Box holders to take up a new box at any other post offices where vacant boxes are available, or terminate the tenancy. Local Standing Order Service customers will collect their orders at their preferred alternative post offices.
