In view of the persistent high demand for type B and type O blood lately, the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service (BTS) appeals to those who are blood type B or O to make a donation as soon as possible. In addition to the regular daily requirement of 800 donations, we need an extra 50 donors each of type B and O blood groups to donate every day during the long holiday period to ensure adequate supply.

Every minute counts in saving lives. Many patients are waiting for those who are blood type B or type O to act as soon as possible!
