Hongkong Post announced today (January 10) that in collaboration with China Post, new Lunar New Year gift sets will be available under the Hong Kong/Mainland Gift Fulfillment Service from today to February 6, 2008.
Hongkong Post and China Post have teamed up to create the Hong Kong/Mainland Gift Fulfillment Service since January 2004, providing a convenient service for sending a range of gift sets to the Mainland, including seasonal gift sets, bouquets, cakes and flower baskets.
To cater for customers' desire to send their best wishes and gifts to relatives, friends and business partners in Hong Kong and the Mainland during this festive season, six gourmet gift sets filled with different kinds of sweets, snacks, cookies, dried seafood, preserved sausages, tea leaves and Macau specialties are now available. The elegant gift sets come in polished packing boxes and are priced from $288 to $868, inclusive of delivery charges.
"These exquisite gift sets are made with a great deal of care and attention to detail," said the Assistant Postmaster General (Business Development), Mr Dan Choi. "We constantly review and update the product range to meet customers' needs and we guarantee prompt delivery to the recipient's doorstep. The gift fulfillment service is a delightful way for customers to send their greetings during the festive season."
Customers can now place orders to send these Lunar New Year gift sets to over 2,000 cities on the Mainland. The products will be delivered on or before February 6, 2008, for orders which are placed on or before January 31, 2008. The completed order forms can be returned in person at any post office, or by fax or post. Customers may also purchase these gift sets via the Hongkong Post Internet shopping mall - "ShopThruPost" (www.shopthrupost.hk).
