The Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Mr Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, will depart for Beijing on Wednesday (December 26) evening for a two-day duty visit.
While in Beijing, Mr Cheung will call on Mr Chen Zuoer, Deputy Director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council; Mr Tian Chengping, Minister of Labour and Social Security; Mr Li Xueju, Minister of Civil Affairs, and Mr Li Yizhong, Minister of the State Administration of Work Safety, to exchange views on issues of mutual interest.
He will also meet with officials of the Beijing Office of the International Labour Organisation and visit the Office of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in Beijing.
Mr Cheung will return to Hong Kong on Friday night (December 28).
