SLW welcomes resolution of labour dispute

The Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Mr Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, today (December 20) welcomed the resolution of the Cathay Pacific Airways labour dispute.
Mr Cheung said the agreement was reached in the spirit of mutual understanding and accommodation. He expressed appreciation for the efforts of both the management of Cathay Pacific Airways and the Flight Attendants Union.
In particular, he commended the professionalism and tireless efforts of the Labour Department in resolving the dispute.
