Proposed amendment to draft Urban Renewal Authority Development Scheme Plan

    The Town Planning Board today (December 7) announced a proposed amendment to the draft Urban Renewal Authority Hai Tan Street/Kweilin Street and Pei Ho Street Development Scheme Plan (DSP).

     The proposed amendment is made to take forward the decision of the board to partially meet the representations on the draft DSP.  It involves the addition of a new paragraph under the Remarks of the Notes for the "Comprehensive Development Area" (CDA) zone specifying that the section of Pei Ho Street between Hai Tan Street and Tung Chau Street within the CDA zone shall be deducted in calculating the relevant site area for the purpose of plot ratio calculation.

     The proposed amendment is now available for public inspection during normal office hours at the secretariat of the Town Planning Board, the planning enquiry counters of the Planning Department in North Point and Sha Tin, the Tsuen Wan and West Kowloon District Planning Office and the Sham Shui Po District Office.

     Any persons, other than those who have made representation or comment on the draft DSP after the consideration of which the amendment is proposed, may make representations in respect of the proposed amendment.  Representations should be made in writing to the secretary of the board on or before December 28, 2007.

     Copies of the draft DSP together with the proposed amendment to its Notes are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei.  The electronic version of the plan and the proposed amendment can be seen on the board's website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb).
