The Town Planning Board today (November 23) announced amendments to the draft Yuen Long Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments included the deletion of a portion of the "Government, Institution or Community(1)" ("G/IC(1)"), "Open Space" ("O") and "Village Type Development" ("V") zones as well as the rezoning of three areas from "G/IC(1)", "O" and an area shown as 'Road' to "V" in Area 16. These amendments are made consequential to the incorporation of the road scheme for the Kau Hui Development Engineering Works in Area 16, Yuen Long, Phase 2 - Extension of Road L3 authorised under the Roads (Works, Use and Compensation) Ordinance (Cap. 370).
The draft Yuen Long OZP No. S/YL/17, incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Town Planning Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters in North Point and Sha Tin, the Tuen Mun and Yuen Long District Planning Office, the Yuen Long District Office, the Shap Pat Heung Rural Committee and the Ping Shan Rural Committee.
Any person may make representation in respect of the amendments in writing to the Secretary of the Board on or before January 23, 2008. Representations made to the board will be available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft Yuen Long OZP are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the plan can be viewed at the board's website at www.info.gov.hk/tpb/.
