| The 19-year-old Lau Hiu-man (left) and her younger twin sister, Lau Hei-man (right), had taken part in the fencing sports at the 6th National Cities Games. The pair had outstanding performances in previous sports games. They jointly won Gold Medal in the Ladies' Sabre Team in the 2006 Asian Junior and Cadet Fencing Championships. Hiu-man was also the Champion in Ladies' Sabre Individual in the 2007 Hong Kong Open Fencing Championships while Hei-man was the 1st Runner-up in the same race.
