The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Tsang Tak-sing, will leave Hong Kong tomorrow (November 5) to attend the Olympic session of the 11th Beijing-Hong Kong Economic Co-operation Symposium in Beijing.
Mr Tsang will speak on the preparations for the 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Equestrian Events in Hong Kong, including the promotion of Olympic atmosphere and Olympism.
He will be accompanied by the Chief Executive Officer of the Equestrian Company, Mr Lam Woon-kwong; the Executive Director, Corporate Development of the Hong Kong Jockey Club, Mr Kim Mak; and the Deputy Secretary for Home Affairs, Mrs Agnes Allcock.
Mr Tsang will return to Hong Kong on Tuesday (November 6).
