Government House will be open to the public next Sunday (November 11) from 10am to 5pm. People are welcome to enjoy a wide range of flowers in the garden and see the Drawing Room and Dining Room where the Chief Executive holds important official functions and receives dignitaries.
"Government House is open to the public twice a year. We hope they will have an enjoyable day like the 5,000 visitors who were here last time on March 11," a government spokesman said.
Visitors should make full use of public transport. They are requested to enter the garden by the east gate at Upper Albert Road and leave by the main gate. Depending on the length of the queue, the Police may announce a cut-off time for lining up outside Government House to ensure that those in the queue can be admitted in time.
