Tenders invited for management and maintenance of high speed roads

    The Highways Department today (November 2) invited tenders for Highways Department Term Contract (Management and Maintenance of High Speed Roads in New Territories West and Kowloon, and Roads in Hong Kong Port Area 2008–2016).

     This is an eight-year maintenance term contract between April 1, 2008, and March 31, 2016.

     The works mainly comprise the management and maintenance of high speed roads in New Territories West and Kowloon, and roads in the Hong Kong Port Area including associated slopes, highway structures, landscaping and minor improvement works.

     The contract will be supervised by the New Territories Regional Office of the Highways Department.
