Get close to nature in Lady MacLehose Holiday Village

    People who live in the urban areas will have an opportunity to get close to nature and relax by joining the Lady MacLehose Holiday Village "Theme Camp 2007" organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

     From December 27 to 29, the theme camp offers a series of fun-filled activities including star-watching, handicrafts, plant workshop, rope course, archery, sports climbing, group dancing and many other recreational activities to enable participants to get away from hectic city life, have fun with friends and relatives, and relax.

     Applications must be submitted by a person aged 18 or above. Each team should comprise three to eight people. The fee which will cover meals and accommodation, is $195 for people aged between 14 and 59, and $145 for people from three to 13, aged 60 or above, and full-time students.

     Application forms are available from Monday (October 22) at all Leisure and Cultural Services Department's District Leisure Services Offices and the four holiday villages - Lady MacLehose Holiday Village, Sai Kung Outdoor Recreation Centre, Tso Kung Tam Outdoor Recreation Centre and Lei Yue Mun Park and Holiday Village. The forms can also be downloaded from Leisure and Cultural Services Department's website at http://www.lcsd.gov.hk/camp/en/p_lmhv.php.

     Completed application forms should reach Lady MacLehose Holiday Village, Pak Tam, Sai Kung, New Territories either by mail or by fax (2792 0254) by November 6.

     Lots will be drawn if the applications exceed the quota of 162.
