***************************************************

Performing well-known classical and contemporary Chinese music pieces in a unique way, the Hong Kong Arts Society will stage "Tunes of Hong Kong Yesteryears ˇV a Concert of Cantonese Music", next month (November).

Featuring a selection of works by famous Hong Kong composer Lui Man-shing and arrangements by famous musicians Wong Ching-kuen, Loo Kar-chi and Cheung Wing-shau, the concert will be held at 8pm, Sunday, November 4, at the Theatre, Sheung Wan Civic Centre.

It is also the societyˇ¦s mission to introduce works written and arranged by local composers.
