International masters bring magic in November

    The Magicians' Association of Hong Kong has invited renowned international and local magicians to weave their magic on stage in November.

     The masters will perform their characteristic tricks, including "The Ultimate Elements of Magic", "Magician's New Clothes", "Magical Mask Change", "The Dance of the Doves", "Mulan" and "Oriental Legend of the Dragon". Hong Kong magician Kenneth Chan will play "Lonely Bar", and Harry Wong will perform the "Magical MC" on November 2 and 3. Albert Tam will be on stage on November 4.

     "The Gentleman of Magic" Dale Salwak (USA) is a Gold Star member of the Inner Magic Circle in the UK. Salwak is also the Director of Chavez Studio of Magic and Entertainment Director of the Hollywood Magic Castle.

     Danny Cole (USA) won the coveted Milbourne Christopher Award and earned an award in the Championship of Magic competition organised by the International Federation of Magic Societies.

     Haruo Shimada (Japan) performed for the Imperial House of Japan at age 20. His signature act, the "Parasol Act" was first showed in USA and became magician of the Hollywood Magic Castle.

     Alex Tan is the first Magical Mask Changer in Singapore, who worked hard to perfect magic, ventriloquism, clowning and juggling during his teens.

     Amos Levkovitch (Israel) is the master in the Dove Act and currently a Magician-in-residence at the Magic Castle. Amos was twice named Stage Magician of the Year by the Academy of Magical Arts.

     Liao Xiaorun (China) is a young female magician from Guilin, who won the first prize in the Asian Stage Magic Competition.

     Kenneth Chan is a member of the Magic Circle of the UK who specialises in manipulation, and won the champion in the Asian Stage Magic Competition.

     Harry Wong has been instilling magic into child education and stage shows. His brand of "Humour with Magic" has made him a much sought-after MC for various occasions.

     Albert Tam is the President of the Magicians' Association of Hong Kong, Territorial Vice-President of the International Brotherhood Of Magicians and AIMC of the Magic Circle in the UK.

     Presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), "International Magic Masters' Miracle Fantasy" will be staged at 7.30pm on November 2 (Friday) at the Theatre, Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre; November 3 (Saturday) at the Auditorium, North District Town Hall; and at 3.30pm on November 4 (Sunday) at Theatre, Ngau Chi Wan Civic Centre. Tickets priced ranged from $90 to $160, are now available at URBTIX outlets, while senior citizens, people with disabilities, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA)recipients may have 50% off (limited quotas for CSSA recipients on a first-come, first-served basis).
