The Lands Department announced today (September 12) that the tender for three petrol filling stations at Waterloo Road, Kowloon (Kowloon Inland Lot No. 11185), Princess Margaret Road, Kowloon (Kowloon Inland Lot No. 11194) and Castle Peak Road, Yuen Long, New Territories (Yuen Long Town Lot No. 523) had been collectively awarded to Chevron Hong Kong Limited on a 21-year land grant at a total premium of $402.1 million.
"Authority from the Central Tender Board was given to the Lands Department to award the sites to the highest tenderer," a government spokesman said.
The successful tender was submitted on the basis of a single amount of tender premium for the purchase of all the three sites collectively as one package. These three sites are existing, re-tendered sites for the development of petrol filling stations.
