    A total of 406 persons were injured and one died in 317 traffic accidents which occurred throughout Hong Kong last week (August 26 to September 1, 2007).

     Sixty-one of these accidents occurred on Hong Kong Island, 117 in Kowloon and 139 in the New Territories.
