The Lands Department today (August 23) announced that a site in Tai Po - Tai Po Town Lot No. 186 at Pak Shek Kok Development Area, Phase 1, Site B - had been successfully triggered for sale under the Application List System.
The lot will be offered for sale at this financial yearˇ¦s fifth Government land auction on September 17 at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre.
A Lands Department spokesman said the Government had accepted the applicantˇ¦s minimum guaranteed bid of $3.08 billion for the lot. This will be the opening bid at the auction subject to the reserve price of the lot.
Tai Po Town Lot No. 186 has a site area of about 22,126 square metres and is designated for private residential purposes. A minimum gross floor area of 39,827 square metres must be completed.
The final Conditions of Sale for the lot will be available for distribution and uploaded onto the Lands Departmentˇ¦s website (http://www.landsd.gov.hk) by September 7 when the particulars of the land auction will also be gazetted.
